Dr. Katz also use the latest advancements in dental technology. Digital radiography provides x-rays of your gums and teeth so we can immediately and clearly spot any decay or problem areas. Photographs from our intra-oral SLR camera display the inside of your mouth on a computer monitor in front of you. They allow you to see the current condition of your mouth within a matter of seconds.

Dr. Katz uses electric driven handpieces which allows him to prepare more precisely. You will no longer hear that high pitched noise from the handpiece; these handpieces are virtually silent. You will notice that the electric driven handpieces will not create chatter like the old air driven handpieces resulting in less vibrations, noise, and discomfort. The consistent torque of an electric handpiece provides Dr. Katz the ability to produce accurate, smooth, and well defined margins, leading to more accurate impressions and perfectly fitting crowns, inlays, onlays, composite fillings, and porcelain veneers.
